The Sky Ladder
Another of my attempts some months back when I tried this one without TTL view from the view finder! This small grass was very low and there was no way I could have photographed this image as it is here if I were to look through the viewfinder! So decided to try this one by approximating the view and the frame coverage to my knowledge till then and executed this full frame image.

Personal nit - of course the DoF :)

I think you could have handled the DOF issue here and I liked the concept here. I was wondering about the clouds and no clouds in sight here, good you tried it with the clouds, brings out the scene nicely in relation to the caption.

Hey Ashwin
This is a strange DOP (difference of opinion) about DOF being the nit. To me it is DOF which makes the image. Slowly graded focus is helpful and leads on the gaze to the zenith IMO.
Thanks for sharing.

Thanks VMR and Nirlep!
Initially I thought that the DoF as is makes sense, but when I tried to visualize the image with more focused lower part of the grass and gradually fading at the top, that made more sense to me than this one. I tried for the same in the field as well by changing the focus point, but for my bad luck the wind kept busy in waving this grass blade and the results were not that good. I think rather than DoF it is the shift in the focus point which would have made this image more appealing than the present one!
A personal taste definitely! ;)

I liked it man. The clouds add a nice visual touch to the image. I agree with Nirlep on the DOF perspective here. The title also adds a lot of impact to the image
