Through the woods...
I was in the arecanut plantation at my native in Western Ghats and was looking for the beautiful Black Naped Monarch Flycatcher which eluded me for days before. When I was silently sitting at a place waiting for the beauty to arrive, this fella got curious and appeared right behind me. As I turned, he just jumped away and sat on a pepper stem. The shade created by the two trees around and the lit portion in the bg created nice feel and decided to trigger the shutter. The result is infront of you.

Would love to know if you liked it.

Well framed image Ashwin ! Looks like you had the focus on the tree ? Interesting unique perspective however. Thanks for sharing..

Personally I liked this framing. Wish there was bit more of light and sharpness. However it's mother nature we need to live with.
