Two to go.....
Made this image while I visited a less known heronary on the Sharavathi Backwaters called Kukkana Gudda.

We were in the middle of the water on a wobbling boat...it was cloudy and looking like it was soon going to pour...we were helpless...no roof to save us and the nearest land with human habitation was 45min away!

It was an experience no less than of a lifetime....

Lovely !
Am not so sure of the balance in the composition. The left side looks a bit empty.
Loved the lone branch sticking out of water. The birds provide life to the frame. Also liked the hint of BG trees forming layers.
The image certainly conveys rainy mood.

Nice moody image here Ashwin. Wish the tree was a little bit towards left but then making image from coracle is tough. Love the simplicity and haze here. Thanks for sharing..

Thanks Kaushik and Ganesh for your views. Even I felt that wish the tree was placed a bit to the left. But as the coracle was wobbling because of wind it was very tough to get the exact position. Moreover I was not anticipating the flight. I was composing a static frame with the tree at the center. But then suddenly the bird took off and what I got was this full frame image. If I were captured a horizontal one then probably could have improved the balance.
Thanks again for your views...
