very well conceived image....but i feel the very saturated green of the foreground mosses is taking away the interest form the snail...also the blue cast light falling on the rock in front...how about a warmer light source?colour space is also very important in composition...each colour has its own visual weight...balance is brought with the area a colour represents in comparison with other colours in the frame....in that way the green could be balanced by a little warm patch or rim light on the snail...my personal view.....

Interesting tonal ranges of here - kind of like the blue cast. I think a bit more cropping would emphasize the snail further for my tastebuds. Thanks for sharing Ashwin..
