Excellent image Ashwin. Balance does not seem to affect my taste buds too. The burning effect has come out very well. I would remove the noise in lower half of the frame. Thanks for sharing.

Excellent usage of foliage in the FG to attain a the blur and burn.
Appears like a piece of floating rock on which the birds are taking a boat-ride !

i liked the overall tone of the image..composition is not to my taste ...i would try to place the rock more to the center lower portion....or to the top center portion..but thats my view....the birds are popping out of the frame due to the contrast ....how about a monotone version?

My God Ashwini, what are doing man ? I just dont wanna talk about any technical matters on this image and just see and enjoy and keep on enjoying. Its the world cup or I would have seen it for 2 hours for sure. U r bloody talented boss, ur thoughts are just as simple as the person u r and ur smile. Sorry, this image made me very emotional and I rather got involved in a topic away from photography. This is photography.

I agree with Praveen that it could have been composed in a different way. I had thought about that on the field as well. But there was another stone on the left which was not adding well to the composition. There was almost no way that I could have included that stone meaningfully in the frame. So I decided to compose it this way.

Lovely one, Ashwin! One of your best! The burning effect has worked marvellously here to produce a surreal feel and the composition works perfectly for me. What I like best is the bottom of the rock merging into nothingness! I must confess though that I'm undecided about the broad out-of-focus grass blade that runs right on the lapwing in the centre. Thanks for sharing.
