Ripple effect!
The effect of the reflection of ripples on the underneath side of the rock was quite eye-catching.

An image made at Syntheri Rocks, near Dandeli.

Loved this Ashwin, very unique take, the warm reflections and the bright light on the bird go well.

What a take, Ashwini !
Have seen the water ripples reflections on the underneath of rocks .. but not in such beautiful setting and color !
The bird in perfect focus, perfect light, perfect wingspread makes this a unique photo !
TFS.

This is a superb image Ashwin, blending the contrasting light conditions in one image. The light on the bird has worked very well. Thanks for sharing.

Wow never seen any image close to this. For a second I was thinking of flames above the bird. Great execution buddy! a blurry bird would further add to the dreamy feel I guess? Do you have any with a slow shutter?

The reflected light really makes this image a unique one in addition to the perfect wingspread

Stunning image Ashwin. For me even without bird this image looks amazing, with lot of mystery about reflection. Having said that bird is icing on the cake :)

Hey Ashwin how could I have missed this one wow!! A very unique image. It confounds the viewer totally. If it were not for the description I'm sure many of us would have been guessing still. First I thought those ripples to be some sort of flames. Even after letting my imagination go wild I could not tell. after so much of seeing there's still some seeing left. And what better way to drive home this point than this image of yours.
Thanks for sharing

Coming back...and that bird burnished metallic and sculpted ..it is almost mythical. Could call it phoenix.
